Mechanical Brine Injectors


Series MHM uses a mechanically driven needle head to inject brine into products moving on a conveyor. Operators can adjust head speed and brine pump pressure, choose model-dependent preset conveyor speeds, and store programs for repeat runs. The range offers 21 to 204 needles and conveyor widths of approximately 13 to 21 inches. Each socket can hold a single, double, triple, or quadruple needle. MHM equipment processes bone-in and boneless meat, poultry, and fish; product dimensions and required output should guide model selection.


Servo-Driven Brine Injectors


Series MH uses servo motors to control the injection head. Operators can adjust stroke length, injection duration and position, head and conveyor speed, and pump pressure. A touchscreen stores up to 99 programs for repeatable settings across products. The MH range offers 117 to 1,480 needles and conveyor widths of approximately 18 to 41 inches. It handles bone-in and boneless meat, poultry, and fish at high production volumes. BAK's MH 660 and MH 1480 configurations are specifically designed for fish products.

Mechanical vs. Servo-Driven Brine Injectors

Both series are programmable. Series MHM provides adjustable head speed and pump pressure with preset conveyor speeds; Series MH offers control over more injection parameters and a broader size range. Needle count alone does not establish throughput. Compare product size and composition, injection percentage, conveyor fit, daily volume, and recipe changes. Series MH may suit higher-volume operations needing finer control, while Series MHM may meet requirements with fewer adjustable parameters.
